The Genova GO is suitable for all skin types, utilising a 3-zone bristle feature:

  1. Thinner touch points on the front face to gently clean sensitive to normal skin
  2. Thicker touch points at the top of the device for precision cleansing
  3. Broad touch points on the back of the device to refresh oilier skin types

How to Use

  1. Apply up to 3 pumps of the Genova Cleansing Gel to the required area on the Genova Go.
  2. Press the centre button once on the Genova GO to turn the device on.
  3. Press the centre button again to select the preferred cleaning intensity (up to 5 levels)
  4. Press and hold the centre button to turn the device off. Alternately, press the centre button past the highest intensity level to turn the device off.

We advise using the Genova GO for approximately one minute in any one cleansing session. Importantly, the Genova GO will deliver a pulsing vibration during the cleaning process to remind you to change the cleaning area every 20 seconds.

Ideally, you will apply the Genova Go to your forehead for 20 seconds, cheeks for 20 seconds and nose/chin area for 20 seconds.

We suggest that you use the Genova Go twice daily (morning and night).

Charging the Genova Go

The Genova GO is rechargeable using the USB charging cable included.

Insert the USB cable end into a power connector.

Lift the silicone plug on the back of the Genova Go and insert the pin end of the cable into the device.

Turn the power on. The device’s LED indicator will flash repeatedly to indicate that the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged, the LED light will become steady.

Why can't I just cleanse with my hands?
You can, but your hands can't match the consistent, gentle vibration of the GO's silicone bristles. The device reaches into pores and along facial contours more thoroughly, and the vibration helps lift impurities that manual washing leaves behind. For menopausal skin with slower cell turnover, this more thorough cleanse can make a noticeable difference to how well your serums absorb afterwards.

Will it irritate my sensitive menopausal skin?
The GO uses medical-grade silicone bristles that are significantly softer than traditional cleansing brushes. With 5 speed settings, you can start at the lowest intensity and adjust to your comfort level. The silicone material is also naturally resistant to bacteria, making it more hygienic than cloth or bristle alternatives.

How does it fit into my Genova skincare routine?
Use the GO as Step 1, morning and night. Cleanse for one minute (the device pulses every 20 seconds to prompt you to move areas), pat dry, then apply your Genova serum or cream. If you use the Ion Applicator, always cleanse with the GO first for the best results.

How do I clean the device?
Rinse under running water after each use. The silicone head resists bacteria buildup, but we recommend a deeper clean with mild soap weekly. The device is fully waterproof.

How long does the battery last?
The rechargeable Li-ion battery provides up to 300 minutes of use on a full charge (approximately 150 minutes to charge via the included USB cable). At one minute twice daily, that's roughly 5 months between charges.

Can I use it with cleansers other than Genova Cleansing Gel?
The GO works with most gel and foam cleansers. However, it's designed and tested for use with Genova Cleansing Gel, which is formulated to produce the right consistency for the silicone bristles.
