Genova Silicone Scar Gel

Apply a small amount of Genova Scar Gel on to your fingertips. Dab on to the affected area and then lightly smooth over the scar surface with gentle sweeping strokes. You will find that the gel goes on wet, but dries within 30 seconds on your skin. Once applied, the silicone-based gel will go to work. It will seal in moisture and protect the scar from drying out.

If required, makeup can be applied to the area once the gel has dried.

Do not apply Genova Scar Gel to open wounds. Genova Scar Gel should not be applied over antibiotic skin preparations or other skin treatment products. Genova Scar Gel should be applied to clean, dry skin only. If redness, pain or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician. Once dry, Genova Scar Gel can be covered with make-up if required.

We suggest that you apply the scar gel at least twice a day, morning and night to the required area. You can actually apply the gel as many times as required on top of a scar, as there will be no side effects to its ongoing use.

Store under 25˚c.

How long does it take to see results?

Genova Silicone Scar Gel is designed for both old and newly formed scars. While newer scars typically respond more quickly, older scars may also show visible improvement with consistent twice-daily application over 8-12 weeks. Does it work on C-section scars?
Yes. C-section scars are one of the most common uses for silicone-based scar therapy. Once the wound has fully healed and any sutures have been removed, you can begin applying the gel twice daily. Many women notice visible softening and flattening within 8-12 weeks of consistent use.
